ROCKSTONE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER
MISSION STATEMENT

Rockstone Cultural Arts Center (Rockstone C.A.C.) is an organization that recognizes the significance of music and the arts and their paramount importance to the unification and development of a better community.  It is this philosophy of the Rockstone C.A.C. by which we strive to create an avenue for teens and young adults, to identify their talents, expressions and dreams and nurture them. One of our main goals is to serve the purpose of this philosophy to its fullest potential.  
One of our main affiliate operations, RockStone Music, proves to help serve this purpose to the fullest extent.  Rockstone takes the initiative to assist artists and aspiring singers/musicians with:

• getting airplay on radio and television
  (including utilization of RockStone broadcasting and programming resources)
• Rockstone C.A.C. TV -- music talent showcase television show;
  aired on public access television, including QPTV [Queens Public Television]
• Rockstone World Radio -- specialty music radio broadcast presented by Rockstone C.A.C.
• package preparation, including demo development, biography, photos and videos
• songwriting, recording techniques, and playing instruments
• audio and video recording and editing
• direction in the music business, including training with reading and writing contracts and agreements
• helping artists prepare for showcases and help find and refer musicians
• finding rehearsal space for single artists or full bands, also providing recording equipment and personnel for recordings
• manufacturing and package artist demos and full-length CDs and DVDs,
  a key, integral part of the RockStone Music operation
• to provide performers for organizations in participation and development of the youth in the community

We believe that exposure to the arts has been proven to stimulate the learning curve, thus proving that creativity is a basic necessity for human appreciation. We also believe in the notion that the arts bring all people in this world together... with mutual love and understanding for all races.
