About Us
Since 1995, Rockstone Cultural Arts Center has been more than a cornerstone for artist and talent development, more than just a performance organization. In fact, we are indeed a conduit through which information resources are distributed to underrepresented communities and people. We believe that the combination of both elements coupled with the effort of the community can bring forth a significant change in the cultural and digital divide, preparing children to compete in a global economy.

Over the years, Rockstone has produced many shows at its Briarwood, Queens headquarters for the artists and families in the community, as well as in communities throughout much of the New York City metropolitan area. These shows (including our flagship performance event, the annual Fig Tree Festival) are provided, as always, at NO COST with the participation of merchants and members of the surrounding community, and was financed primarily by the resources of its founder, Patrick Taylor.

Rockstone's continued dedication to artist development by way of their artist showcase events, like the  Fig Tree Festival, has ultimately led to the formation of Rockstone C.A.C. TV and their radio program, Rockstone World Radio.  Among the artists featured on these shows are many talented performers who have furthered their careers here at Rockstone, including L.E.D. (featuring Kehv), Dilli Dalle, Sugar Massive, Messenger, and many more.  As such, these artists have gone on to reach new levels of success in their respective musical journeys.

Additionally, exposure to the arts has been proven to stimulate learning, proving that creativity is a basic necessity for human appreciation. Consequently, the arts, musical creativity, and other such similar activities help to bridge "the Cultural Divide"(the separation of different cultures in our society). Rockstone operates in the notion that the arts bring all people in this world together, with mutual love and understanding for all people.

Rockstone Cultural Arts Center will continue to contribute arts, culture, and education in our community and beyond.

Rockstone Cultural Arts Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization.
